Education Support
How We Serve
IHCC, with support from partners, ensures every child has access to quality education through school enrollment support, provision of learning materials, academic monitoring, tutoring, and mentorship. We believe education is a fundamental right and a pathway out of vulnerability, equipping children with knowledge, skills, and confidence to build brighter futures. Our education support extends from early childhood through tertiary institutions and includes children in shelter care, reunified children, and children in custodial settings.
Our Goals
- Ensure 100% school enrollment for all children in IHCC's care
- Provide learning materials, uniforms, and school supplies to remove barriers to education
- Monitor academic progress and provide tutoring or remedial support where needed
- Partner with schools to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
- Prepare youth for post-secondary education, vocational training, or employment
